Merian Rose - Organic Wine




LOCATION: Batea / DO Terra Alta.
VARIETIES: 100% Grenache Noir (Organic)
BREEDING: It is aged on it lees for foru moths
ALCOHOL GRADUATION: 13,5%


ELABORATION:
Direct press method. The grapes are pressed right away to extract the juice and remove the skins so there is just a hint of color. After, it is fermented like a white wine at a controlled temperature of 18ºC. It is aged on its lees for four months with two battonages per week.
VINTAGE:
Manual harvest at the perfect point of ripeness. Grapes are selected from the family’s plots of Garnatxa Negre (Grenache Noir) and the grapes displaying the best characteristics for rosé wine are chosen.
TASTING NOTE
Pale salmon color with more intense hues in the rim. Intense aromas of red fruits, delicate floral notes and hints of minerality. In the mouth it is fruity, attractive and fresh. It has a long aftertaste which invites you to drink more and more. It is well-balanced and fresh with great structure.
HARMONY:
A versatile wine that pairs perfectly with salads with mild vinaigrettes and pasta or rice dishes made with seafood. It also goes well with shellfish, blue fish such as tuna or sardines, white fish and sushi. You can also pair it with creamy cheeses such as brie or camembert and roasted or grilled meats. Lastly, it goes fabulously with desserts as the sweetness of the dessert contrasts very nicely with the freshness of the wine.
